“He is a confronting person. He knows that. He is tall, strong, loud and fast. To be honest my first thought was: What the f*. Who is he? I mean that positive. He is a person who can confront you, and he knows that. He is very trustful and has a lot of knowledge and analytical skills. Either you love him, or hate him. Because he is always challenging you. Every time you leave a session with a certain question mark. He leaves you alone for a moment, so you have to think.”
I wanted to be challenged. It is not an easy journey.
“Mindshifting. He turns things upside down, in a respectful manner. He starts with the individual, not with hierarchies or organizational structures. He believes in organic organizations, and help the ‘free radicals’ to shine in order to create speed in your organization. Therefore, he starts with the individual. Always posing questions around your believes. It is a deep dive. Starting from the ground, not at the top. You see people start shining. And some fades away, but as an organization you need to allow that to happen. He creates change in your organization. So be careful!”
Since December 2020 Lars operates as Interim Country Manager. Together with Martin he started a process around personal development and de development of ‘self-organising’ teams. In a few essential keywords, he describes what you can expect when working with Martin.
